Weinfeld says that children are more exposed to dogs than adults, and in Weinfeld’s opinion, this is mainly because children are out of school, and they have more unsupervised time with dogs than they normally would. Children are three times more likely than adults to get bitten, says Prevent a Bite, a nonprofit organization.
